Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given of the seventeenth Annual General Meeting of the Northern England Flatcoated Retriever Association to be held at 11:00 am on Sunday 18th March 2012 at The Fenton Manor Sports Complex, City Road, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 2RR (Gallery Suite 1st Floor.)

Nominations are sought for the following;

Vice Chairman (1 year)

Mr A.Ryder will be resigning at the AGM and nominations are invited for this position.

Hon.Treasurer (3 years)

Mr I.T.R.Bott is prepared to stand for Re-Election with the support of the Committee.

Hon. Working Secretary (3 years)

Mrs C.Hewison, was seconded to the role at our July Committee Meeting following the resignation of Mrs D.Jury due to ill health and is prepared to stand for this position with the support of the Committee.

Committee Vacancies (4 posts)

There are four vacancies on the Committee all due to re-election and they are all for a 3 year term.
All existing committee members are prepared to re – stand with support of the committee.

Nominations for the above posts should be sent to the Honorary Secretary Mr L.Geoghegan from the proposer, together with a letter from the seconder and written agreement from the proposed person by Friday 17th February 2012. The proposed person and either the proposer or seconder must be in attendance at the Annual General Meeting and be prepared to address the meeting.

Propositions for inclusion on the agenda are also invited and must be received by the Honorary Secretary no later than 17th February 2012. Only matters on the agenda can be discussed at the meeting.

Should you require a Postal voting form please apply to the Honorary Secretary, who will be pleased to forward one after the Nominations have closed should the positions be oversubscribed.

Members wishing to attend the AGM must be fully paid up members of the Association

PLEASE NOTE THAT 2012 SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE NOW DUE AND SHOULD BE SENT TO OUR HON TREASURER MR I.T.R.BOTT. MEMBERS WHOSE CORRECT SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE NOT RECEIVED BY THE 30TH APRIL WILL HAVE THEIR MEMBERSHIP TERMINATED.
